WPN have conducted large scale workforce surveys to investigate gender bias and continue to lobby the college to improve work and training for women. These findings were presentd at the 2022 RANZCP Congress.
WPN have lobbied the RANZCP and individual workplaces on several key issues including changing the college's part-time training fee structure and addressing sexual harassment and assault in the workplace.
WPN have partnered with PsychMatters to produce a series of podcasts highlighting the careers of women in psychiatry.
Women in Psychiatry’s inaugural event Pathways to Power was held in Melbourne Victoria in 2019 and showcased a panel of successful women, discussing their career pathways, successes and challenges.
